"Gympie has always been Bogan City and it was interesting that after 20 years since my last stay, nothing has changed except for the creation of another bogan generation. Gympie is over represented in utes and pickups. The bigger the pickup, clearly in my mind is the diminished size of that persons manhood. The utes and pickups are belching, noisy, are constantly laying down rubber and it appears they must display multiple aerial's and beer decals along the sides. It also appears nobody walks...

"It was cold, dark and the rain had started to fall. We were late arriving but that was no trouble. The staff were friendly and hospitable and suggested the restaurant within the complex for our dinner. Brilliant ! Some delicious options there. The room was basic but was clean had everything we needed. A mattress topper wouldn’t go astray. Tea and coffee and bikkies appreciated ! Above all fantastic service from the team."
